STAY at Bontebok Lodge
Bontebok Lodge sits on Bontebok Ridge at the extreme southern end of the Touwsberg Nature Reserve. Named appropriately after the first herd of five bontebok who adopted this ridge as their home after being released into the reserve in 2007.
This self-catering, homestead style cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious lounge and eating area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, a fridge and cooking and eating utentils.
A large veranda with a built in braai area wraps around the cottage providing spectacular views from all directions.
High ceilings keep the cottage cool in summer and an indoor fireplace keeps the place cosy and warm on those chilly winter days.
